  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Financial Service industry, preferably Asset Management market
  • Understand the investment business culture, the players, and their interests, both Institutional and B2B
  • Proven yourself in a sales position for and know how to sell in the High Net Worth Individual and Institutional marketplace, as well as having good contacts in those spaces
    You are a good listener who wants to understant the client’s requests in order to advise on the best products and services.

1. Manage the Consulting/Advisory products offered to CCM clients. The Director should “know their client”:
Across all product areas
Acoss all aspects of the interactions with Third party service providers, such as Prime brokers, Custodian Banks, Auditors, Administrators, Legal, trading systems ect..
Understand the clients’ internal processes
Understand the challenges and pressures that clients face in order to better work with them to overcome them
Be client’s point person of problem solving all issues
Navigate internal groups as required (and appropriate)
Ensure appropriate level of communication with client to retain clients and general referral business

2. To maintain and communicate market knowledge in order to ensure maximum efficiency across client community:

Understand technology offerings
Be first ‘to market to’ in communication of all industry changes and developments by maintaining contact with news media outlets
Use forums such as roundtables, breakfasts, and conferences to educate clients

3. Work with new clients to ensure smooth on-boarding of products. Work with Sales team on pitches when appropriate and to win new client business. Provide any training required to junior staff.

4. Manage the CCM Advisory Services Group, a team supporting the day-to-day requirements acting as a point of escalation for daily processing.


  • The candidate must have an understanding of operational processes and technology in order to ensure knowledge within the group and communication out to the Client population remains current
  • The role requires extensive interaction with clients and the ability to maintain and build excellent client relationships is a priority.
  • The candidate must have the skills to be able to interact with a number of different types of firms across operations at all levels, small, mid etc.
  • A strong understanding of financial markets is required, a degree of derivatives knowledge would also be helpful
  • An understanding of clients’ requirements across operations is required

  • Due to the pressurized environment and the need to deal with issues on an ongoing basis it is necessary to maintain composure while remaining assertive when dealing with problems.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise way is vital. In addition it is necessary to be able to adapt to client specific needs in a positive way
  • It is critical that the candidate have the ability to work as part of and to adapt to the needs of the team
